Changing of advocate

Dear Experts,

I shall be grateful if you all could let me know how to change an advocate in a divorce case . This advocate has crossed all the limits of MISBEHAVIOUR  to the extent of threatening to kick his client. This is also unlikely that he will give an NOC and might  cause troubles further. His dues are all cleared.

Kindly Advise

Regards.

no problem first see any local advocate who is good in such cases as if you see in the court hall it self you will analyze the senior lawyer and meet him and propose you case to him and then take NOC from the existing lawyer

If you are quite sure that he will not give NOC, then the client has to send a letter to the advocate removing him as his/her representative by speed post and engage another advocate of his/her choice and through him file a fresh vakalatnama along with the letter supported by speed post receipt in the court on the next date of hearing.

@adv. chandrasekhar,
nice bt feel it wld b appropriate if it with format of the letter. otherwise if it will not b foolproof thn chances of  former adv. may take advantage of it.
