Cheating by a friend

Hello , my friend cheated me ,he told me that in mumbai there is a flat which is good in cost ,and very good for investment ,and earlier also i helped him ,so i have given hin moner approx 25 lacs traferred via account cash deposit in many times , and i told him to take on his name only becoz i was not available ,now i came to know that he has not taken any flat , and i have in proof only those reciept ,so what possibly action can i take please response
