Chs not responding

I m a member of a CHS which is charging additional maintenance of Rs 2000 towards Repairs. When written to them for how long they will charge from when to when, no replies are given to my 12 letters to the Society. Society has not held elections for last 10 years. Auditor is not appointed. AGM is called but Balance sheet for last FY is not circulated. MOM of AGMs is not being provided. Ledger is not provided. Please suggest couese of action against a Non Coop society

Is the Society registered? If so, under which law?

If the society is a registered body then you can make a complaint with the registrar of cooperataive societies by compiling all the data and your grievances with facts and documentary evidences to support your complaint.

In the meantime you can refuse to pay the exorbitant maintenance amount demanded by the society

Surprising facts of the post such as the Cooperative Housing Society did not hold elections, get accounts audited,  AGMs not called for last 10 years etc. etc. ??? Unbelievable. 

Contact and consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts and professional advise for necessary proceeding.
