Civil case and waqf

We have 1 acre of land near Krishnagiri, Tamil nadu state and recently my neighbour has filed civil suit claiming the land belongs to his father's brother. When we enquired about the land little more deeply it was said that this portion of land along with other piece was gifted by Tippu sultan and maintained by muslims earlier (we dont have documentation regarding this), we know that there is WAQF board for managing muslim properties, my question is can we add WAQF board as additional defendent to this civil case and after we add WAQF will the case get transferred to WAQF tribunal or continue in civil court itself?

Don't act on any hearsay information to implead wakf board as a party.

It will be as good as inviting trouble to yourself.

If the neighbor is creating problem you handle it yourself by filing a suit for permanent injunction against him to restrain him from interfering with your possession and enjoyment on the basis of documentary evidences in your support.

Alternately you can go for a compromise settlement instead of creating more problems for yourself.

Hi Sir- we are not planning but in our village there are few muslim community who are talking about this and they might also try to contact WAQF and ask them as additional party in this case, so my question is is this possible or not?
