Civil court procedure

Dear Members,

 

Can anyone explain what are the different stages in civil suits. it is noticed that the court puts some remarks on the board for stage of a suit like for reply, arguement etc. what are those and there meanings.

Stages depend  upon case  to case: reply means defence,Argument means to give reasons for or against something

for threaritical and practical purposes the following for the general stages of civil suits. This may vary from order 1 to 20 of C.P.C 

filing

numbering

issuance of summons

appearance of defendant

filing of written statement 

framing of issues

fixing day for trail

evidence of parties(plaintiff=defendant)

chief and cross examinations

arguments of parties and in reply to the arguments after oral evidence over

then judgment.
