Civil law time frame for appeal

In civil suit the Munsiff court gave judgement in my favour .I am the plaintiff. I am yet to get the judgement copy .I was told that respondant will be given time from,taking possession of judgement copy .The judgement was pronounced on 31/8/2018 .it appears the respondent took his copy recently The original land documents are in court ,How to get it if respondent appeals can I counter it
