i am staying in a gated community, people in the community formed an association and the association is registered,the society is collecting monthly amount from all the flats to meet the expenses on water/electrity/ other services. the elected members are not sharing the monthly expense report at the end of every month clearly stating the amount brought forward from previous month and the corpus fund that was deposited in the bank. when asked for clarifications they are asking to show law which mandates that society members must be shown the expense bills and allowed to clarify the accounts.
the elected members behave in an unruly manner and do not accept the suggestions from the society members in bringing transparency in accounts.
how can these people be brought under the control so that they follow the law
