Can a case filed in other state against a family can be taken up in the state or city where the family is residing and get it cleared? Or the family has to visit the state where the case is filed.

1. If the jurisdiction aspect is correct, then one has to go to the other state of the case.
2. You will have to file a Transfer Petition in the Supreme Court if you wish to transfer the case to your state.
