Combining 2 plots with different owners and house construction

Dear Sir / Madam,

Myself and my Wife own 2 individual plots but adjacent to each other. We plan to construct a house in the middle considering it as a common plot. The survey numbers of each of the plots are different.

  1. Will I get approval of House plan, if not combined?
  2. Will I get loan approval, if not combined?
  3. Do I need to combine the Plots legally before construction?
  4. If yes, what is the process for amalgamation in case of different ownership?
  5. Any specific / related advice?

When the property and approvals are in joint names, the loan should also be in joint names.  Absolutely there is no problem.  Contact a local advocate of that Bank where you wish to utilize finance for more clarity.

Sir, My mistake. Allow me clarify.

I own one plot and my wife owns the adjacent plot.

I can understand facts and mistakes.  The reply was provided on the presumption that both of the plots were owned separately by both husband and wife through two separate sale deeds.  There is no change in reply.  It is absolutely a problem at all.
