compensation

I and my wife are govt employees. we have two major children . My wife applied for health insurance scheme for govt employees and their family members and got insurance card in 2016. But due to lot of misunderstanding she avoid my name and did not included in the scheme without my knowledge. I come to know about her treachery only last month when I admitted for open heart surgery. So I had to spend cash 2 lakhs unnecessarily for the treatment. We live in same roof and no separated. Can I claim Compensation from my wife and take legal action against her. what type of action should I take
