Compromise reached, money given still arest warrant issued !

My brother, mother, father got entangled in false dowry case under 498A by my sister in law. After 1 year, we reached compromise stage with her and gave her ther money as demanded 15 lakhs in one installment and filed for divorce and qaushing of FIR. petition for FIR was logded in high court on 5 march and we received arrest warrants for my brother and warrants for parents orded on 7 march.

brother's bail has been rejected by lower and high court earlier. we had asked lawyer to file petition in lower court to stop proceedings as compromise had reached but he played dual game and did not file it as a result we are having arrest warrants. what to do ???

Please help !

You said compromised reached. Then you can very well asked your lawyer to submit compromised memorandum of understanding papers. So that he might have done accordingly.

How was the quash petition filed without submitting a copy of the compromise? Were all the relevant authorities given information about the compromise and the first payment? An attempt to stop execution of warrants may be a good thing in the circumstances mentioned by you. This may be done by talking to the police and giving them the information.
