computation of imprisonment served

Hi.

Does the government holidays get deducted from the imprisonment term. Eg if one gets sentence of 1 years imprisonment and if there are 25 government holidays in 1 year commencing from the day of commencement of term, will he/she be released before 25 days from completion of 1 year.
