Consider shifting marines to guesthouse, sc tells kerala

https://www.indianexpress.com/news/Consider-shifting-marines-to-guesthouse--SC-tells-Kerala/947416/

I am very much surprised by this advice of the SC.

I always thought that all persons are equal before law.

Now it seems that foreigners are more equal than Indians in our own country.

Based on this precedent, can Indian undertrials also ask for guest house accomodation?

With full service, of course...

It is a well known fact that India is almost a banana republic where the three wings of Government i.e. Executive, Legislature and Judiciary can act in collaboration and nexus to help each other. Thus it is no surprise that there are many who are more equal than others. Anyways what is the text of the judgment? Under what premise they are being given alternative accommodation by SC?

Dear Democratic Indian

I refer you to the Indian Express Article whose reference is given in my post. I find this very shocking, considering the appaling conditions in which our own undertrials are kept; I invite other readers to comment as this is a serious matter.
