Constructed two rooms with m.c permission

Hello fellow members,

I constructed two rooms without muncipal corporation permission. I have map plan for ground floor but not for these two rooms. Now I have received a notice from Muncipal Corporation that as per Act 1976 Section 269, 270 they can demolish the constructed rooms or can seal the building. They have asked for 13500 rupees as a chalan fee to be paid in just one day.

I don't understand why we pay property tax if we cannot do anything with our property. First we pay tax while buying property than to build we again need to pay and than to live we again need to pay these b*st*rds.

Please let me know what I can do. I know I made a mistake and took it lightly. I should have visited these b*st*rds office and paid these dogs.
