Consusmer rights protection act

Hello all,

Been going through consumer protection act 1986. Have few questions.

1. When going through cases understood that Supreme court has made a clear distinction between "contract for service" and "contract of service" in the case of V.P.Santha Case. Am still unclear about the difference between the two. Can somebody quote few examples ?

2. Section (2)(1)d defines consumer. It says anybody who avails the goods or hires services for consideration is a consumer. Am taking that the term consideration here means "for a monetary benefit" - please correct me if am wrong. Now the question here is the same section Under consideration - its also conveyes that roads built by govt to us is a service but people who avail it cannot be considered as consumers ! why ?

3. Can you please explain a little about Deemed consumer which comes under S.2(1)(d)(ii) with an example in plain terms ?

4. Where can i read more about Seller against buyer breach and Buyer against seller breach ?

Thanks in advance...
