Dear Anand,

As your employment is based on 10+2 qualification there is nothing to worry. Even after employment the employers do permit their employees to pursue further studies if it donot affect in the performance of their duties or in the alternative there is provision of study leave if it is a regular course. So long as there is no false representation there is nothing wrong if you had completed the B-Tech course during the period of your service. Even the Govt. or PSUs permit those applicant whose results are awaited to apply for the jobs advertised but give a specific cut-off date. Are u on probation or confirmed service? Higher qualification is not a disqualification for any job except in certain situations where it is so prescribed.

Deptt can take mercy and allow this qualification to be entered ande if they decide to be harsh they can issue a chargesheet also.

Graduation, of course. is legal, but taking exam without permission attracts provisions of conduct rules which may entail some minor penalty if the department decides to charge sheet you. Anyway, you need not bother for the time being, must apply for competitive exam to upgrade your career.
