If there is contradicting statement between PCR and statement given to the police by the witness, can it be used to counter the case? Because, I had heard that statement given by the witness in the police station cannot be used as evidence.
At what stage should we highlight the contradicting statement of the witness? Whether during the cross examination stage or during the evidence stage?
