In a civil suit, in an interlocutory application (IA), the petitioners made some statements in the affidavit accompanying the petition, and those statements are true. But now, the IA is in the stage of arguments, and in the written arguments and oral arguments, they made exactly opposite statements (lies). These are very critical statements, and they will affect the outcome of the IA and the suit. How do I handle this? What can I do? Can I file an IA within this IA, saying that the petitioners made contradictory statements in the affidavit and written arguments in the same IA? What can be the prayer in my IA? Please tell me what else can I do on the civil side? Regards, T. K. Das, Kolkata
