Counselling in Lok Adalat

hi,

I had my first councelling session in Lok Adalat yesterday.  Though the councellor tried his best to provoke and make me speak, i stayed quite all through the session asi wasnt interested in councelling. I just said that i am not interested in living togather and need divorce. The councellor has asked us to appear on another date & informed that if i remained quite in that session, he would refer the case to court.

As i remained quite all through the session, the concellor was advising my lawyer to take me to a psycatrist. My queries are:

1. Would me being quite have any impact? What if the councellor writes as "Petitioner Not cooperating" and referes the case to the court?

2. Does the councellor have the power to refer me to psycatrist?
