Lost my degree certificate and do not posses any photo copy

Dear Sirs,

I have lost my file containing my degree certificates. To obtain a duplicate copy from the university they ask for a Non-traceable certificate from the Police.

When I approached the local police station, they ask for a photo copy of my certificates. But, I do not posses any photo copy of my certificates.

At this juncture, please let me know what should I do.

Dear,for the purpose to obtain duplicate certificates you may ask in writing to concerned authorties of University to issue a letter stating therein requisit of non-tracable report from police authorties so that police can verify your genuine request.OR APPROCH HIGHER POLICE OFFICIAL IN PERSON AS WELL IN WRITING AND APPRISE THEM ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM AND GET THEM ASSURED EITHER BY WAY OF AFFIDEVIT OR OTHERWISE .

You just file a complaint before the police and sworn to an affidavit and produce the concerned university to get the duplicate degree certificate, they are bound to issue duplicate certificate.
