Hi
a) The talk on the above is it a law yet ? when is it expected to be a law
b) husbands residential propertys refers to all properties that are there where husband is single or co owner ? what is definition of residential property ?
c) is husbands inherited property ( his parents home ) part of this ?
d) if the house is in joint names more because of loan companies insistence & there is proof that all emis are paid by husband does this still apply ?

A. No it is not law of the land. It was passed by Lower House (Lok Sabha). It is pending at Upper House (Rajya Sabha). No idea when it will come on board fro discussion and or may be passed by upper house.
For your B till D wait till it becomes Law. Clarity will then come.
