I have certain queries regarding to the 498A??
1) What is 498A?
2) How to file 498A and where?? How can I know that the FIR is done for 498A??
3) Will police requires any evidence at the time FIR of 498A??
4) Will police scold the woman who wants to file FIR of 498A?? OR will they deny for doing the same??
Please give your valuable guidence for the same....

What is 498a.
498a is a section of IPC. Which details something but has mostly been used by females for oblique mottives. You have rightly been directed at www.498a.org
But if you are contemplating filing a 498a. Be sure that you don't distort the fact. I have personally seen that when a man decides to fight back. The lady is at a loosing end mostly.
