Irbm

Hello,

Once the IrBM bill has been siged by the president, how soon can it be used?

Is there a wait for the lawyers to read and understand the law before it can be used ?

Thanks

once passed by the loksabha and signed by the president, it immediately becomes a  law..........the lawyers can take their own time to study.........

So once IrBM becomes law it can be immediately used?

Is there a wait period in any form after president signs. I hope there is or else this law will create more wait time and negotiation in my divorce...

Thanks!

Official gazette notification after president signs is required for it to become law. Not just president's signature.

Generally it has been seen that for every amendment or bill which is passed by President's consent there after it becomes act needs 1 year to be followed by Indian judiciary .
