Rights of tahsildar

Dear Advocates,

DOES TAHSILDAR has got the POWERS to issue a DKT Patta to land less poor person.Kindly elaborate on this subject.

Yes, Tahsildar is competition authority to issue Darkhast Patta (DKT) upon approval from its Divisional Officer.
