Acccording to IT, 2000 , investigation in any cyber crime should be done in accordance with rules and procedure defined in Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.....A police officer not below the rank of DSP can investigate the case.....n list of offenes are provided in chapter XI of the act are cognizable offences means that the police can arrest any person suspected of commiting any cyber crime without warrant...
