Court Marriage in another state

Dear Experts, Please guide me can a person do a court marriage in another state, if both boy and girl are native of 2 different states and want to marry in 3rd state. whether rent agreement in the name of boy working in that 3rd state will solve the purpose of address proof.

Yes the condition for marriage under the Special Marriage Act 1954 is that either of the party should be living for at least 30 days in the district where notice for marriage is given by both parties to the Marriage Officer of the district. Rent agreement is valid proof of stay in the district that can be taken in consideration along with employment proof of the person working and living in that district.
