In a cheque bounce case...cross examination of the complainant is over.... Moreover the witnesses of the complainant are also over.....

Now my question is if accused wants to produce some documentary evidences such as Bank passbook then can he do so now or it is advisable to do after the Further statement of accused

1. The procedure is after complision of evidence of complainants side, the judge ask questions prepared on the basis of incrimating evidence available on record. Such stage is called accused statement under section 313 of CrPc.

2. At that time you submit that you  wish to submit certain documents and also wish to lead defense evidence and the judge will post the case for defense evidence.
