Widow's share

Hello Sir, this query is on behalf of one of my relatives who had 6 members in her home. She, her husband, 5 months old baby, father in law, mother in law and sister in law. In an unfortunate incidence, her husband, father in law and mother in law died in a road accident. Query: Can she along with her child claim for the share in the property (house) which is in the name is her father in law who has dies in fatal road accident along with her mother in law and husband?

The minor child as child of deceased son has share in the property of the grandfather. The lady being the surviving mother and natural guardian of the minor child can claim the share in the property.

The property of the lady's father in law has to be equally shared between her sister-in-law and her deceased husband.

The 50% share of her deceased husband in her father-in-law's property will now has to be shared between the lady and her 5 months old baby.

Rightly advised by Mr R .Ramachandran, questioned property will be equally devided between sister in law of lady and her deceased husband,further share of lady's deceased husband will devided among lady and her 5 month's old baby.
