I would like to cancel my marriage to based on foreign divorce decree.
I am Goan and was a Indian citizen when I married to Goan girl and was also a Indian citizen.
we both got married in 2001 in Mapusa Goa.
We both got US Citizenship in 2012/2013
I had mental health issues in 2010 and she applied for divorce in 2014, and the divorce was completed in 2015.
Now I am planning to get married again.
I am told that I need to get my registration cancelled in order for me to get married again.
How do I get the marriage registration cancelled from Mapusa Goa on the basis of US divorce decree?
