Good morning,

Under the Hindu Marriage Act, a working woman can't claim alimony since she has a source of income for sustenance. She is eligible for alimony, IF she has an income that is considerably lesser than that of yours, and isn't enough for her to sustain her daily needs. She can always approach a court, expecting a grant of alimony but it is totally under the court's discretion to grant or deny the request. If you can prove that you're not impotent, the court can dismiss her petition. You will have to get tested in a good hospital to prove you're not impotent.

We can help you better if you could specify more, in respect to the facts of the case.

Hope this helped!

Regards,

Nandini
