Convertion of flat to shop with separate stairs.

Hello,

I have a residential flat at 1st floor of an apartment. the association is a condominium. it has given me the permission to convert it into commercial property but didn't approve the use of staircase by the customers. what can i do??

Also there is a 5' common passage beside the building which is under my floor. can i utilise 1.5' to build a removeable staircase to gain access to my property?

Please suggest me what else can i do to gain access to the place without any issues...

Thanks

With out approval to use stair case he can't sell it to you. since without access to that property it is of no use to you. since access right are defacto comes with that property.

The access to your flat is your right and it automatically comes when you have the property. There is no need to use the removeable stairs. Use the common passage if stopped can file a suit for getting a court orderfoe the use of the same. Sonia malhotra 995361162
