Dear Learned Advocates,
We are the Plaintiffs in a case and have filed a civil suit against my uncle for the cancellation of Gift Deed made fraudulently, through which he became the owner of 3 floors in a commericial building which belonged to my late Grandfather. We have finished our cross-examination and closed our evidence, Now that my uncle (respondent) has to submit his evidence, his advocate is trying to delay as much as possible.
In the meanwhile, about 2 weeks back, I came to know that he (as the Plaintiff) had filed a case against a tenant who had once rented one of his floors. I had noticed that he had submitted his evidence and had also been cross-examined. The case is now disposed where the verdict had come in his favour as the respondent tenant could not prove himself.
In this regards, I would like to know how I can get access to all his documents especially the Complaint/List of Evidences marked and his cross-examination sheet (given that I was not a party to the case and the case has been disposed). I would need it as it would help us for strengthening our case.
What is the procedure for obtaining the same and how long would it take for getting the documents?
Regards
