Corporate guarantee

Dear all, We are machine manufacturer who start manufacturing of machine based on advance received from the customer. Now , many times Customer asks a Bank Guarantee for the advance paid by them . Such Guarantees ensures timely delivery of the machines. Now, we always incur heavy bank charges on such BG's so my management wants to provide Corporate Guarantee instead of Bank Guarantee. Now , my query is, can we as a company give guarantee by our own for ensuring our own performance. Will it be ok to give such guarantee.
