My birth certificate issued by the panchayat in kerala has the wrong birth date and month. My SSLC book, Passport, pan card, Voters ID etc has the correct DOB. Is there any way I can get the dates on my birth certificate changed? I approached the panchayatofficials and they are saying it is not possible to make correction in the brith Certificate, espeically the date of birth and the month. Is it true? While searching online I found this link https://www.hindu.com/2011/02/23/stories/2011022358110600.htm . It says kerala government has decided to make correction in birth certificate easier...Deosn't it mean there is a way to change date in birth certificate? Please please help
