corruption case

what happens, when a govt. servant cought red handed taking bribe and was produced before the court by cbi and was released before 48 hours on bail.  what are the repurcussions  and whether he will be suspended from the department for time being.  if not, what's the deparment's action in this matter ? can cbi release the accused(cought red handed ) on bail.  can any one please enlighten me on this?

one of my  friends who was an ADA told me that invariably such persons get off unscathed by paying more bribe to witnesses, that in such matters rates are more or less fixed for getting someone caught rehanded and also for making he witnesses turn hostile.

based on above, india will never eradicate corruption from its soil
