Cosuin's unethical husband...can he be forced for a divorce

Hi,

Cousin's husband in his early 40's is highly unethical. He has been stealing money and ornaments and using this all to fulfil his enjoyments. He openly admits and proudly speaks about having extra marital relationships (many) and going to enjoy women oustside..He had made a statement regarding doing physical harm to cousin's relative. So an FIR was filed against him.He was asked not to meet cousin but he makes some reason and meets her up and his daughter to skip away from legal hassles.

No Divorce has been filed yet.

She doesnt believe in what others are asking her to take Divorce for her future safety while others know he is all set to ruin her future.

Is there any way that he be asked to forcefully divorce her.

Can anyone guide or give a proper suggetion as to whom to consult?

she cant force her husband to divorce but she can file a contested divorce on grounds of cruelty which her husband must contest and prove against.if you have enough proofs to prove cruelty and adultery against him then she would get divorce

Agree with saravana. She can filed divorce case as well file complaint in CWA cell.

From the post, it seems that the wife and her daughter are already living separately. She can file for Divorce and maintenance. Divorce can't be forced. But, with mutual discussion they can opt fpr MCD.
