Counselling In Court For Couples

Hi All,

Need expert and legal advice...

What is the procedure of counselling? At first hearing do counsellors meet couple seperately or together?

How many sesions are taken? What if couple agree to be together? What are the terms and conditions?

Are they made to sign any agreement? and are they allowed to stay seperately and give each other a chance?

Hello!

Councelling in courts is a very flexible phenomenon. Usually they ask 4 whole of the story making both of u 2 sit togather alongwith councillars. But u may ask for a short private talk too if u want. they will assess the matter & will mediate between u. Ultimate tendency is for reconcillation. If not in sight, they will advise u 2 part ways amicably. Any money issue will be discussed & sorted. U may ask for n number of sessions, if one party wants to stop further, case is sent back. The conditions of compromise/sattlement are written & signed.

Its a wonderful level playground to finish the matter amicably without contesting the case.
