There have been several complaints submitted to municipal authorities regarding illegal restaurants, their encroachments, etc. But municipal authorities are not taking any action. Police claim that it is municipal authorities' job, not theirs.
I intend to get a court order which will force police to file an FIR against municipal authorities for failing to act per rules and regulations.
Could someone advise what the procedure for this is? I would like to do this without hiring a lawyer as far as possible.
