Court procedure of Eviction

Sir anyone can pls tell me how the procedure runs after filing eviction.

Here is my understand. Pls let me know more details if i am wrong:

1. Filing of Eviction by landlord

2. Time for counter to tenant

3. Filing of Couter by tenant

4. Raising or posting of issues by Judge

5. Evidence to be submitted by landlord

6. Arguments start

7. Cross examinations

8. Judgement.

Sirs, what is the average timeframe for completion of this complete  procedure in rent control?

sorry Sir,

the sequence mentioned by u is not correct.

1. filing of petition.

2. reply by tenant.

3. rejoinder by landlord.

4. framing of issues.

5. landlord evidence.

6. cross examination of lanlord and witnesses.

7. tenant evidence.

8. Cross examination of tenant and witnesses.

9. rebuttal evidence if necessary.

10. Arguments

 

during this process there can be few applications moved by either of the parties for various purposes.

it may take around 1 year to 2 year time...depending upon pressure on the court and ur quickness.

sirs.. thanks for the letting me know the procedure. One question is what is required for landlord evidence in a bonofide requirement of an old landlady ? Is it enough is she says she requires the house for her own use? can you pls suggest anything more?
