Credit Card Liability

Sir,
If a 27 year old son who is holding a credit card in his name by showing 3 months salary of Thomas Reuters and the credit card Merchant issued the said credit card without cross verifying with the company whether he is employed or not and the card holder fails to clear it's credit card due. In this case are the parent liable to pay the son due ? Parent has no joint liability with him.

No, parents are not liable.

Contact financier of your son.

However, it is not a legal dispute for analyses, opinion and obligation of experts on this platform. .

Parents are not liable for the pay for the amount
