Daughter's right in her mothers property

Hello Experts,

My name is Nagaraju(from Vijayawada, Andrapredesh). This is regarding my mothers right in her mother's property(my granny property). My Granny(mother's Mother) has 5 childrees(2 daughters and 3 sons). Recently my granny got a house property after her father expires(in 2010). As per the will written by my granny's father, my granny has all rights(sell or donate) on that house property.

But, that will is with some other(not with my granny) one. Now, my granny wants to sell that house property. My mother is asking share in the amount which my granny would receive after seeling it. Is this share gonna be legal. Please suggest me.

Regards,

It is your granny's absolute property. Your mother has no right to claim any share in the property till your granny is alive.

Thanks for your reply. I have one more concern here. My mother living in the same house property(my granny owns as per the will) since 37 years. My granny did not live in the house. My mother is not willing to vacate this house and wanted to purchase the same. But my granny rejecting it. Please let me know about any consideration to my mothere in this regard.

Thanks in advance.
