Death Compensation

Hello Sir,

My father in Law, 49 years old,  was working with some Movers and Packers Company. He was working as a driver  and was a permanent employee. During working hour he got an accident and after 10 days in hospital, he could not survive.

Company is only paying insurance amount by insurance company and Gratuity. They are also not responding properly.

How can i demand compensation and kindly let me know how can i approach to them

Every transport company is paying Insurance Premium/s to its workmen. If any thing happens, towards their life, during the course of their employment, all the Insurance Companies  are bound to pay the insurance amount (compensation amount)  as per the policies to the deceased/injured persons. And also the transporting  Company is liable to all the "benefits" of the deceased/injured. Either the Company, where he is working or the Insurance Company, failed to do their obligations in paying such amount, there is every possibility to approach the competent courts, for appropriate relief/s.
