Debtor refusing to pay

In year 2013  i have issued cheque of Rs 5,00,000 to a individual ( he was my friend )  so i did not take any collateral security or anything..

 

now he is totally refusing to pay be back,  

 

I have copy of my cheque i gave him , which is only legal proof i have 

 

Please advise how to get my money back....  :(

 

I'm from Delhi, but i issued him cheque in Mumbai and the person resides in MP,  please advise where and how a case can be filed ...he is now threatening me.not to take any legal action... :(

Dear Friend 

Having no proof or acknowledgement is a problem. But since he is threatening is enough for you to proceed. Consult a lawyer and get moving. Issue a legal notice to him. Don't stop communication.

  1. Sir its verbal threat...he nevers calls me on phone, nor does he accept my calls....he is already very cautious...
