A filipina colleague of mine had an indian 'fiance' after a very long process of courtship. The guy said he already filed a divorce and almost done. They are now in the process of informing everybody about the wedding plans, including their families. She got pregnant few months back when suddenly came an indian lady saying that she is the wife of this guy. She said they don't have any problem and no divorce is happening. She forcefully involved all their family members to gain their sympathy and she managed everybody to agree with her. All documents of the guy (passport, licenses, etc) were kept by the wife so he that he cannot travel. Even mobiles were held by the wife.
What can we advise to my colleague? Can she file any case against the wife or to her 'fiance' for lying to her or whatsoever? Can she file any request for support for the baby?
