deduction of TCS

Dear Learned Advocate

I purchased a maruti Ertiga car in 2021 costing around Rs 13 lakhs and since the value of the car exceeded 10 lakhs,the dealer had deducted 1% towards TCS ie. Rs 13,000.

when I asked the dealer to furnish me a copy of the ledger or letter stating that they deposited Rs 13000 to the government treasury to claim back the TCS amount in my ITR. But the dealer is not issuing me this document for the reason which is unknown to me.

point to note I noticed that the dealer has indicated the car value less than 10 lakhs in the car insurance document to avoid deduction to. of TCS of 1%. which is less than 10 lalhs. Seems the dealer swallowed the TCS amount.

would you advice legal points as to how can I claim back the TCS amount from maruti dealer.
