Defamation

Respected Sirs,

I am facing apeculiar situation. One director wants to file a defamation case against another director of the same PSU in his official capoacity as a director. Becasue the later has made some remarks about the ability /performance of the former by an e-mail to the director whois holding the charge of actng Chairman.

i think that doesnt come under the purview of defamation

If the comments is motivated, out of context, if such intrusions have harmed the latter in the past etc, then the latter is well within his right to file Defamation on the former.
