Dear Sir,
A person cheated us, and later defamed us by printing an article in a magazine....which can be taken as a proof to file defamation suit. But i am confused since the person is from Delhi and i am from mumbai, and the magazine was published in delhi................where should i file the case, delhi or mumbai? since i am from mumbai, i prefer to file it in mumbai..............
PLEASE ADVISE....

You have to file a defamation case against such person as mentioned by Nanda Sir.
It falls under section 500 of IPC: Whoever defames another shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
