Delay in F & F and LTA money - Need help

HI,

I quit my company on Aug 4 with all proper documentation after serving 1 months notice as per company law. However they F & F cheq came almost after 75 days.

Secondly still they have not given the LTA money and it is more that 90 days now.

Are there any law which specifies timelines by which an employees dues have to be reimbursed?

Further they dont properly respond to my emails about the LTA money. Is there any legal recourse as emails and phone calls have not yeilded any results.

LTA is an entitlement as per the terms of service - sevice regulations or the terms of your appointment. Please check this out to check your entitlement. If yes, you can file a complaint with the local labour authorities under the Payment of Wages Act and if your company is covered as an establishment under the Shops and Commercial Establishments Act as well.

The process is simple and you can your self represent to the authorities at the o/o Labor commissioner.
