delayed Alienation

Dear Sir,

The self aquired property by my grand father is in the name of my grand mother (expired in 1985). my father has two sisters born before 1956 and married before 1985. my father is expired leving behind my mother and my sister. the alienation of property is not yet done and is still on my late grand mothers name. Considering Hindu succession act 1956 & Hindu succession act (ammended ) 2005. please let me know the status of the property.

Thanks.

The grand mother is died  as intestate and so all the legal heirs have equal right over the property.

All the legal heirs of the grand mother are entittle to get equal share in the paroperties which have left without making any will or any arrangment.
