Delaying bike RC

You must Learn Tricks to teach them a lesson.

The temp registration of your bike is expired and you cannot ride your vehicvle without RC . Approach RTA office to inquire about the status

File RTI Application and seek information as follows:

Information solicited:

1.Provide time frame fixed under citizen charter for providing permanent RC.

2.Please provide specific reasons for record for inordinate delay of sending RC for vehicle no...............standing in the name of .................for....................make.......................wheeler, Application submitted on.....................through..................................(dealer)

2.Wait for 40days, issue notice under CP Act for deficiency of services and demanding immediate despatch of original RC and inform them that you will be constrained to demand for compensation for deficiency of service.

3.Wait for a month after issue of notice and file simple complaint in District Consumer forum praying for issue of RC Book and compensation of Rs.10,000/- for deficiency of service and harassment.  There are no costs involved in filing complaint except nominal stationery charges of less than Rs.100/- if you appear as party in person.  You can also get reasonable costs and compensation.
